► Saturday, Monday, Wednesday : 4 hours per day (11:00 am to 3:00 pm)

► Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday : 3+ hours per day (3:00 pm to 6:30 pm)

Regular Course


Duration:

► Two Months Course

► 48+ hours (24 Classes)

 

Days and timings:

► Saturday, Monday, Wednesday : 2 hours per day (11:00 am to 1:00 pm; 6:00 pm to 8.00 pm)

► Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday : 2 hours per day (3:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

Mock Test


Anybody can sit for a Mock test to judge their score. Each mock test is BDT. 1000 only

 

Module Details


Module : Listening

► Why are you tested in this? How is the test structured? Where do you tend to lose marks and how to overcome that?

► Strategies to help you : Identifying key words, Listening for details, Understanding what you are listening, Using accurate language conventions

► At least 15 practice listening practice test with detailed explanation and answers

 

Module : Reading

► How is the test structured? Where is the difference between Academic Module and General Training Module?What are the different reading skills that you need? How individual strengths in this module can help you? How to enrich your vocabulary within a limited time?

► Key Strategies for the following : Headings, Locating Information, Multiple Choice Question, Short-Answer, Sentence Completion/Fill in the Blanks, Viewpoints, Summary, Diagrams, True, False/Not Given

► 15-20 practice reading exercises with practical application of the strategies and detailed explanation of the answer

 

Module: Writing

Academic

► Purpose of the different tasks : Data focused task, Procedural task, Structure and language features, Types of tasks

► Strategies : How to approach the tasks, Identifying the Subject, What to include and how to compare, How writing task 1 is marked? Understanding the various requirements for the various band scores.

► Task 2 (AC) : Structure and language features. How to plan? What determines your score?

► Essay types: argumentative, discussion, discursive, cause-effect, problem-solution. Probable Topics and Widely Asked Questions

► Assisted and Independent Writing Tests with detailed correction, explanation and ways of improvement from specialist teachers.

► 20 practice tasks with proper explanation and expert responses.

 

General Training

► Structure : Language conventions, Using and identifying the tones used, Bringing about minor modifications to enhance writing

► Types of letters : formal, informal, semiformal-how do you differentiate and how do your responses vary?
